Born and raised in rural Crete, Andreas quit the prestigious Mathematics University of Athens to pursue his passion for Advertising at the University of Florida, graduating with High Honors. He kick-started his career at DMB&B NY and JWT Greece, before setting sail for Asia. In 1997 he launched and run MediaVest Japan, later merging it with Starcom. In 2003 he moved to Taiwan as the CEO of the MindShare Group, cementing it to be the undisputed market leader. In October 2006 he relocated to Malaysia to lead the Omnicom Media Group (OMD & PHD) and transformed it to be an award-winning formidable force. On August 2016, he assumed the CEO role of the newly formed Havas Media Group Malaysia, tasked to build the group’s media operations in the country. Andreas has conducted numerous high-powered learning sessions for many universities and the industry at large, has served as president or council member on several industry associations and committees (MSA, MDA, JIC), as a judge on numerous award juries and as a member on various industry advisory boards (GOOGLE, INTI, TAYLOR’s, UTAR, PJCAD, APMF, etc). He is an active Certified Professional Coach locally & internationally (CCA & ICF), a Certified NLP practitioner and the recipient of several industry awards and accolades.

Associate Professor Dr Alex Leow Hwong Ruey is a Consultant physician, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist in University of Malaya Medical Centre and University of Malaya Specialist Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his basic degree in Biomedical Science in 1999 at University of Malaya before furthering his study in Medicine in University College Dublin/Penang Medical College. He graduated in 2004 and was awarded the Penang Medical Practitioner’s Society Best All Round Student Award. He obtained his Master Degree in Internal Medicine and was awarded the John Bosco Best Master Student Award upon graduation in 2012. His areas of interest are diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, Helicobacter pylori, viral hepatitis B and C, hepatocellular carcinoma and has authored and co-authored in numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented in both local and international conferences.

My Practice – My Success Journey

Raymond has a distinguished career in training and takes great pride and joy in transferring his field knowledge to develop sales capabilities that help sales personnel excel in their profession especially in the pharmaceutical industry. He turns complex pharmaceutical science into simple patient focused selling. He started his career with GlaxoWellcome where he received the prestigious Detailer of the Year Award. He then moved on to train the sales force with F&N Coca Cola for 4 years and thereon to GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare for 16 years. He was the accredited tutor with the Smith Kline Beecham training academy before taking on commercial roles leaving the legacy as Channel Director for the general trade and pharmacy business at GSK in June 2016. Prior to joining the commercial team, Raymond served as the Regional Sales Training Manager for South-East Asia. He was the key driver for developing the sales capabilities in FMCG key account management. His success lies within the deep knowledge of driving good returns of investment for trade promotion, joint business plans and maximizing profitability by ensuring the gross to net sales elements are clearly understood and measured by the sales force. Raymond spearheaded the Customer First Program where customer delight is the key priority. He’s had the unique experience of supporting 2 international retailers and several local pharmacy chain groups with “The Pharm-Assist Program” in Malaysia. He designed the modules and was the key facilitator. This program targeted pharmacy assistants to enhance their skill, knowledge and confidence to serve customers effectively. Their role is crucial in creating a wonderful shopper and consumer experience. The programme was endorsed by the Malaysia Pharmaceutical Society. Raymond established Eagle Sales Training Academy in July 2016 and now conducts a signature program entitled “Journey to the Heart!” Selling involve both the connection of minds but more importantly, speaking to the heart and from the heart. It is a journey to discover the value each one brings. This program centers on skills and capabilities for sales, key account management, customer service and managers to be leading leaders. Raymond holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Windsor, Canada since 1985. Married with two wonderful children aged 22 and 20. Both are pursuing their tertiary education.

Dr. Andrea Ban Yu-Lin is a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, University Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur and respiratory physician in Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, one of four university hospitals in Malaysia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and O&G from Ireland before getting her Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from UKM in 2007. Her career has seen her in postings in O&G, general medicine and nephrology to respiratory, which she has a keen interest in. A member of the Malaysian Thoracic Society and Academy of Medicine, Malaysia, Dr. Andrea is also an active publisher of several international peer reviews. Her focus and interests lies in respiratory related diseases and treatments.
